Hey wizards!
Within the past couple of days, Kingsisle has been posting announcements about the new world of Azteca in Wizard101.
So far, what we know is that the world will be themed after dinosaurs. To access this world, you need to be at least level 80 and have completed the quest A Great Storm is Coming from Avalon. Unlike other world entry quests, you need to talk to Cyrus Drake instead of Merle Ambrose.
In addition, the level cap has been extended again. Now, wizards will be able to reach level 90. With the new level cap, you can learn a new rank 10 spell at level 88 and get training points at levels 85 and 90. Kingsisle also reports that there will be several quests through this world, like in Celestia, where you can earn training points.
There is no word whether or not you will learn spells at various levels between 80 and 90 like you do between 70 and 80, but there will be new astral spells that you can learn during this time.
There are also updates with the buying/selling screens (specifically at the Bazaar) and some bug fixes. Some of those bugs that are being repaired include the ice wall in Sudriland can now be passed (I had this problem) and a sigil issue in Zafaria.

Pirate101 Beta!!!
Hey Wizards! er..Pirates!
If you didn't know, Kingisle released a special beta of Pirate101 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM yesterday, October 4th, 2012. My cousin and I were lucky enough to have known about it and we got to download it and try it out.
Personally, I like it. Pirate101 definitely isn't Wizard101. There are many similarities, yet many differences. The combat system is definitely different. To make it simple, it's like a chess board. It takes a while to get the hang of it, I still don't completely get it.
Some characters and items are very much alike W101. You get a companion with you depending on what you are. My character for example (Cruel Alex Stern) is a Musketeer. In the game, you are an orphan. You need to choose what world of the Spiral you are from and how your parents died. Worlds that you can choose include Grizzleheim, Krokotopia, Marleybone, Skull Island, and Mooshu. My companion is a crane. You can also get a goat monk, samoorai, and others.
Pirate101 is due to release early October.

Halloween Time!
Hey Wizards!
If you don't already know, the Wizard101 Halloween celebration had begun! There are several new items this year plus some returning items that are there.
Some things I'd like to let everyone know about is the items you can buy from both Spooky Bob and the Crowns Shop. First, there are some new pets. The new Zombie Piggle, the well-known Nightmare, and the Ghost Dragon.
The towers in Ravenwood have changed to Apprentice, Adept, and Master Towers instead of Easy, Medium , and Hard Towers. Baron Mordecai (who drops the wraith statue) has also returned to his normal tower on Triton Avenue.
Also, tune into pproductions123 tonight @ 7:30 PM EDT for the first Halloween special of The Wacky Wizards Show!
